Logotel wins the Smau innovation award
During the Smau Live Show on 24 October 2017 Logotel described how it combines a people-focused approach with the use of the best technologies to foster innovation and transform the future
Smau, the leading Italian Information & Communications Technology show, recently concluded in Milan. Held on 24 to 26 October, it featured a packed programme of workshops, events and speeches on innovation, technology and ICT.
During its national roadshow Smau promotes top-quality innovation through the SMAU Innovation Award which recognises companies, public authorities and start-ups capable of demonstrating that innovation, not just in terms of technology but also in the form of ideas and projects, is a key dimension of their activities.
Logotel - which combines a people-centric approach with the use of innovative technologies - was one of the companies acknowledged, for its e-volution project.
As part of the Smau Live Show, which presented innovative projects in the quaternary sector, in the B2B and B2C and public sectors, Daniele Cerra, Digital Innovation Officer at Logotel, outlined the work carried out by Logotel and TIM with the e-volution Business Community, a digital environment dedicated to TIM’s Indirect Sales Network.
Other participants in the event’s round table Services for customers and the general public: 360° innovation, held on Tuesday 24 October at 1 p.m. in pavilion 4 of FieramilanoCity, included Giulio Capacchione, EDP Manager of Grimaldi Group®, Antonella Gusso, Head of Publishing, Development and Organisation at Corrado Tedeschi, Francesco Foti, Region of Lombardy, and Lorenzo Barbantini, Marketing and Innovation at Hurry.
During his presentation, Daniele Cerra explained that:
“Logotel’s activities are underpinned by the firm conviction that people are the engine and the main lever of change processes, both inside and outside organisations. In addition to this principle, we believe that technology is accelerating the transformation of all aspects of business, from products to services and company processes.
For many years now Logotel has used the technology and infrastructure of its service provider, TIM. But for TIM Logotel is also more than this, it is a partner with whom it has undertaken an innovative informative, training and motivational path for the benefit of its Indirect Business Sales Network. The e-volution Business Community project, which began in 2001, involves over 2000 people, who form a homogenous community with similar professional characteristics and shared specific goals."
Over the years the sales force community has become a self-learning, information and training space where the collaborative approach makes it possible to face up to moments of great change and work towards achieving increasingly loftier goals.
